Fees and Funding
Aldbourne Preschool operates as a not-for-profit group.

Fees can be paid by universal 15 hours funding, 30 hours working parents funding, 2 year old extra support funding or by invoice.

15 hours universal funding
All children aged 3 and 4 years receive 15 hours funding from the local authority the term after the child turns three. Aldbourne Preschool, with your consent, will apply for this funding directly from the local authority.

30 hours working parents funding
Depending on your household income and family circumstances you may be able to apply for 30 hours working family funding. This funding is available for children over 9 months. Aldbourne Preschool will need your authorisation code and National Insurance number before you start in order to access this funding. To find out more details or apply for 30 hours funding visit this website - https://www.gov.uk/free-childcare-if-working.

2 year old extra support funding
If you household or child receives extra support your 2 year old may be able to get 15 hours of funded childcare a week. To find out more visit this website https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-olds-extra-support

Non-funded hours
Families not in receipt of the funding listed above or using the funding at another setting may opt to pay for some or all of their child's hours. Our fees are:
-
2 year olds £7.95 per hour
-
3 year olds £6.15 per hour
Fees are payable half-termly in advance unless prior agreement is reached. Fees are reviewed annually and subject to change.

Additional costs
Aldbourne Preschool endeavours to keep additional costs to a minimum. We ask parents to supply nappies (if required). Lunch is provided at a cost of £1.50 a day or you can supply a packed lunch. All our regular activities, including forest school, cooking and crafts are included in the costs.
